We photograph a lot of golf courses. And we love doing it.
There's a small window of opportunity in golf course photography - - when the light is right and there's lots of color on the course - - about two weeks every fall.
Good course shots demand an understanding of the game. What makes a hole appealing and challenging?
This is the famous #15 at Mississaugua Golf & Country Club. It features an elevated green, surrounded by (newly constructed) bunkers, and sits well above the fairway. What a challenge!
When the morning light slides across the green and the frost melts off the fairway, I don't think there is anywhere else a golfer would rather be. It's a beautiful golf hole.
