With this bridge in our neighbourhood, it's been interesting to watch it grow and develop. Now that it's nearing completion, there is a lot of work being done at night to keep the project on schedule. All those additional work lights make the project look to me like it's being lit for a great photo!
We have a secret location that gets us a nice perspective on the bridge and provides interesting reflections from the 12 Mile Creek that runs under the bridge.
It's interesting to see how remarkable today's digital cameras are in having great sensitivity in low light situations. Yes, we use a tripod, and yes, the exposure is painfully slow, but the depth of the blacks and the quality of the light would never have been this good in the days of shooting with film.
